America’s Largest Workplace

Sunday's New York Times editorial calls on Congress to protect LGBT employees from discrimination in the workplace by passing ENDA. The piece omitted that our country's largest employer - the military - has fired about 13,000 service members for being gay. We again call on representatives and senators to put repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" at the top of their legislative to-do list. Let's tell our legislators that honoring all service members is worth making a top priority.

This policy must come to an end. I am a veteran with 5yrs in service and was discharged under this policy in February 2002.  They would have allowed me to stay in for the good of the service and deploy to Afghanistan or Iraq but I had finished my final physical. If you can bend the policy you can get rid of it.
