And The Tony Goes To…
Congrats to fellow SLDN Board member Paul Boskind for winning a Tony Sunday night! I -- along with the entire SLDN family -- was so proud to see him on CBS accepting the award for Best Revival of a Play for "The Normal Heart," along with his co-producer and Larry Kramer.
Paul's involvement in the arts reflects his larger commitment to LGBT equality across the board. He leverages the theatre as a form of activism. Bringing "The Normal Heart" to Broadway while Larry is still alive was only possible because of Paul's generous investment in this incredible production.
I feel very fortunate to have met Paul through SLDN. I know his continuous support over the years has made a big difference. Please join me in congratulating Paul on this significant professional achievement that also furthers the cause for equality.
