Fraternity Generates Support for Repeal at Atlanta Black Pride

Alpha Lambda Zeta Fraternity has been a proud volunteer for SLDN since 2007, and we were excited to continue this tradition at the Atlanta 2010 Black Pride event this past weekend. SLDN table at Atlanta Black Pride 2010

It was inspiring to meet so many attendees who showed an interest in learning about SLDN and repealing DADT. Participants were more than willing to sign the petition and get involved as the repeal fight heats up. We were able to provide valuable information to participants, obtained donations, and added signatures to the petition to end this discriminatory law.

Several members are either veterans or currently service in the armed forces. They see first-hand the harms of DADT. We are extremely passionate about this cause and are excited to be involved at this historic time.

We look forward to working with SLDN and helping to finally end “Don't Ask, Don't Tell” by getting supporters to call their senators, both here in Georgia and in all 50 states.
