GA Voice: HRC to Recognize SLDN’s Jeff Cleghorn

Congratulations to retired Army Major and SLDN Board Member Jeff Cleghorn, who will be recognized for his work to help end "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" at the Human Rights Campaign Atlanta Gala Dinner on May 14.

After leaving the Army in 1996, Jeff attended law school at George Washington University and then worked as a Staff Attorney with SLDN starting in 1999. A longtime and outspoken advocate of open service, he has appeared as a legal analyst on multiple cable talk shows and has written numerous op-eds in support of DADT repeal.

We are proud to work with dedicated individuals like Jeff whose many contributions have helped move us closer to open service for all qualified patriots.

Congrats Jeff!  You have been such a powerful leader in this movement.  I’m very happy that HRC and the ATL community is recognizing your service.
