Join SLDN in San Diego
If you're attending the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association convention in San Diego this week, be sure to stop by the morning plenary on Friday (9:30 - 10:45am) for a panel discussion on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
The panel will feature SLDN communications associate (and former Navy linguist) Jason Knight, wounded Iraq war veteran Eric Alva and SLDN consulting counsel Bridget Wilson. The panel will look at the experiences of LGBT service members, the Congressional push to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," and the future of the issue - in the courts and Congress.
And, if you're in town on Thursday at the convention, also check out the special screening of Tell a new documentary film about the ban. The film will be shown on Thursday evening, beginnin at 9pm.
