Meghan McCain Twitters on DADT

This morning Meghan McCain twittered about the threat DADT poses to the safety of our men and women overseas:

"Does anyone realize when an Arabic translator that happens to be gay is thrown out of the military that is one less person keeping my brother safe overseas? Does anyone think about that?!?"

Right on! It is long past time for the President and Congress to not only think about DADT repeal, but to actually do something about it. Where is the Administration's plan? Where is the timeline? What is this delay all about? And when will Obama's campaign promises to lift the ban be translated into Presidential leadership and action?

Yea, Maybe Megan can talk her father into co-sponsoring the Ted Kennedy’s bill for the repeal in the Senate.  Like that will ever happen.
