I was there and had an amazing time. Thank you to the SLDN board for an amazing evening. The table and comments saluting our fallen gay and lesbian service members was well done and brought a little sadness and emotion.

This was my third - and hopefully last - SLDN National Dinner while DADT is still on the books. Next year, I’m looking forward to a true victory celebration! For those who were not in attendance, there was an amazing feeling of empowerment in the room for both gay rights and the patriotism of our servicemembers. The crowd was truly the among best of America.
On a personal note, I wish to thank the staff and supporters of SLDN for all their hard work toward a successful event. The venue was beautiful and the agenda thoughtfully presented.

I was there as well and it was a really GREAT event!!!! While it is great to be pragmatic, let’s not buckle under the naysayers and keep up our heads in optimism.

My husband and I were there. It was a wonderful evening. We can only hope that DADT will be repealed this year. Please keep up the good work SLDN.
