Chief Warrant Officer (CW2) Charlie Morgan visited Capitol Hill on Thursday to share her personal story, including a battle with incurable breast cancer and her fight to secure equal recognition, support, and benefits for her wife Karen and their 4-year-old daughter Casey Elena. CW2 Morgan and Karen are plaintiffs in SLDN's lawsuit on behalf of eight married gay and lesbian service member and veteran couples seeking the same support as their married, straight peers.
