On May 27, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), House Democratic Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), and Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-PA), spoke in support of adding an amendment to the House version of the Defense Authorization Budget to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” The amendment was approved the same day, 234-194.

Why ads only in the navel-gazing, inside the Beltway Roll Call and the literati lounge act of the Huffington Post - both of which the majority of Americans who need to understand how much DADT is hurting national security will never see?
Why not the USA Today and the New York Times and the Washington Post? The first has the widest circulation of any paper in the country and the other two are mainstream media, particularly network TV news discussion starters.
