DADT Forum to Spotlight “Another American”
SLDN’s Susan LaBombard will join Beth L. Schissel, MD, former US Air Force Captain, in a special forum tomorrow to discuss Marc Wolf’s one-man show Another American: Asking and Telling, following the 2 p.m. matinee at the Spencer Theatre in Kansas City, MO.
The play, which illustrates the painful human impact of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” on service members, reminds us that patriotic gay and lesbian Americans can still be fired from the military because of their sexual orientation as long as this law remains on the books.
