Veteran Hits the Road for Repeal at South Carolina Pride
This weekend SLDN client Yaki Cahoon was featured in a front-page story (“A Rainbow over Columbia,” Sept. 4) in The State, South Carolina’s largest newspaper. Yaki has worked with SLDN since being discharged from the Air Force under DADT in 2009. On Saturday she joined an estimated 10,000 participants in the 21st annual South Carolina Pride, where she shared her story and spread the message for open service.
