Table Local Events

Spread the word about our movement at local events and help grow our grassroots network. Set up a table (or go armed with clipboards) at a local event where we can collect signatures for our petition to Congress to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Through these efforts, we not only have an opportunty to collect petitions, but also to raise visibility around the issue, educate members of our communities, and recruit additional volunteers.

Feel free to be creative with the events you attend: parades, concerts, festivals, fairs, expos -- really any place with high foot traffic! Coffee shops, bars, bookstores, clubs, campuses, and cafes are potential areas to explore as well.
