Grace Cretcher

Grace joined SLDN in August 2011 and currently serves as a Legal Intern.

She is a 26-year-old law student originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is currently a 3L at Georgetown University Law Center. She attended New York University for undergrad and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Gender and Sexuality studies.

After college, Grace worked for an attorney in New York City for a year and then as a campaign staffer for President Obama in Cincinnati in during the campaign in 2008. After starting law school at Georgetown in 2009, she most recently completed an internship with the New York Civil Liberties Union in the summer of 2011, working on a variety of civil rights issues including work around LGBT discrimination.

After graduation, Grace plans to work in public interest civil rights law, hopefully with a focus on the rights of LGBT individuals. Outside of legal work, her interests include politics, pop culture, and travel.
