Ty Walrod

Ty is the co-founder, co-director and a member of the board of directors of OutServe. He is also the CEO and co-founder of Bright Funds, where he leverages his strong interpersonal skills and broad business background with his passion for changing the world. Bright Funds empowers individuals and employees to invest in a better world by contributing to portfolios of excellent non-profits focused on big world challenges. Ty began his career in San Francisco working at Deloitte, with the partnership’s venture capital, private equity and
technology clients, followed by his work as the lead financial analyst for Coverity, a venture-backed software company. When he’s outside you can find him climbing mountains, most recently on a three-man expedition to the Cordillera Blanca range in Peru. Ty grew up in Elkhart, Kansas and is a proud graduate of Washburn University (2006), summa cum laude.
