LGBT | POV: Tom Carpenter: DADT Repeal – The Nonevent
Tuesday, March 20, 2012, marks the 6-month anniversary of the implementation of the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT). It seems fitting that two weekends ago, I attended the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network annual dinner in Washington DC, surrounded by active duty men and women in uniform. What a difference 6 months makes.
Last Saturday evening another group of active duty troops and veterans were honored as guests of the David Bohnett Foundation at the HRC Gala in Los Angeles.
