"Celebrate Repeal Day with SLDN & HRC Austin September 20, 2011"

THE AUSTIN DADT REPEAL PARTY

You are cordially invited to join Austins Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN), colleagues and friends to celebrate the full and final repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. On Tuesday, Sept. 20th, from 6 to 9 pm, HUSH, at 408 N. Congress, will host a party to commemorate the first day that gays can serve in the military openly and honestly. (Hush was formerly the Light Bar, and before that the Forum)

Hush will serve free food and one free drink, followed by a cash bar. This is a *Free Event and Open to the Public. This is not a fundraiser but a Celebration. We expect active-duty service members will attend from Ft. Hood and other nearby installations, along with scores of our supporters. Please bring your friends, and family. Anyone 18 and older may attend.

For further information, please contact Jeff Hersh (jeff@jhershlaw.com; 310.497.1364) or Chance Birdsall (chancebirdsall@hotmail.com; 512.294.9322).

Sincerely,

Brigadier General Virgil A. Richard, United States Army (Ret)

Chaplain (Colonel) Paul W. Dodd, United States Army (Ret)
