A Celebration: the End of Don't Ask, Don't Tell
(Celebrate Repeal Day with SLDN – September 20, 2011)
Please join Equality Virginia and our Honorary Host Committee as we celebrate Repeal Day along with SLDN parties across the nation.
To commemorate this historic occasion, several thousand service members, veterans, friends, and state and local dignitaries will gather at the waterfront in Norfolk, Virginia, heart of the worlds largest military community. On this night, we will celebrate that gay and lesbian members of the U.S. Military will be able to serve their nation openly for the first time.
