(Celebrate Repeal Day with SLDN – September 20, 2011)
On Tuesday, September 20, the repeal of Dont Ask, Dont Tell (DADT) takes effect and the militarys longstanding discriminatory policy will become history. For the first time in US history, gay and lesbian military personnel who serve this country and defend our freedoms can no longer be denied that privilege because of who they are.
