Tell President Obama to Keep His Promise

Tell President Obama to keep his word on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” On the campaign trail, then-Senator Obama repeatedly said the law should go. Now, as commander in chief, it’s time for the president to fulfill his pledge. He must lead the way toward repeal and partner with Congress to get rid of this discriminatory law.

You can call the White House switchboard at 202-456-1414 and tell the president to:

• Uphold his campaign promise to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”
• Stop the firing of service members because of sexual orientation
• Speak up and tell Congress to repeal the law—so our military can retain the best and brightest

The president is receptive to what we have to say. And together, our voices can send a powerful message to the White House. Click here to tell us how your call went.
