Governance Policy: Position Statements

From time to time the board of SLDN may adopt statements of position on matter of concern to SLDN relating to its mission. Below are those currently in effect:

SLDN Statement on Military Actions

Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) is dedicated to ending discrimination against and harassment of military personnel affected by Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and related forms of intolerance.

SLDN takes no position on military actions undertaken by the United States, but supports men and women in uniform.

SLDN Statement on Military Draft

Servicemembers Legal Defense Network takes no position regarding a military draft.
