Sandy Geiselman, CAPT, USNR (Ret.)
Sandy Geiselman joined the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in April 2008. She is currently serving as Director, Strategic Resource Management Office for Protection and National Preparedness PNP). As such, she is responsible for managing all PNP resources, including human capital, budget, procurement, IT, facilities and security requirements for a staff of approximately 1000 personnel.
Prior to joining FEMA, Geiselman was Chief of Staff for L-3 Communications’ SBInet project and had also previously served as Director of Development for the Center for Women’s Business Research.
From 1986 to 2005, Geiselman worked in various capacities for The Pfaltzgraff Co., the country’s largest dinnerware company, including assignments as Vice-President of Logistics and Divisional Vice-President of Sales and Business Development.
Before her tenure at Pfaltzgraff, Geiselman had a 12-year career as an active duty naval officer, including assignment as Director of the Secretary of the Navy’s White House Liaison Office. After joining Pfaltzgraff in 1986, she continued her military career in the Naval Reserve where she was selected for three command tours and retired as a Captain in August 2002.
During her distinguished naval career she was awarded five Meritorious Service medals and four Navy Commendation medals.
Geiselman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Grove City College and an Executive Program Masters of Business Administration from Loyola College.
