Ashley Scheideberg

Legal Coordinator

Prior to joining SLDN in September 2010 as Legal Coordinator, Ashley Scheideberg worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Business Operations office at the University of Virginia. After spending a majority of her formative years in Iowa, Ashley is excited to be a permanent resident of the East Coast. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2008 with a major in Anthropology and minor in Sociology. Her studies and student group involvement concentrated on social justice issues related to intersections of gender, sexuality, race, and class. While a student, Ashley interned with Planned Parenthood Health Systems in Charlottesville, VA and gained valuable, first-hand experience and insight with its Grassroots Organizing branch. Throughout school and since graduating, Ashley has worked several administrative and customer service jobs and is happy to find herself at a non-profit dedicated to social justice.
