SLDN | Sadie Davis

Legal and Legislative Coordinator

Sadie Davis joined SLDN in 2006 and currently serves as the organization’s  Legal and Legislative Coordinator.

Sadie grew up in Minnesota’s Twin Cities area and moved to Washington, DC after graduating with high honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned degrees in both English and Women's Studies. During her time at the university, she was involved in numerous jobs and activities related to economic equality, LGBT rights, and women’s rights, including an internship with the Development Department of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin. Because the internship was part of a service learning course in the Women's Studies department, she was able to both participate in and theoretically analyze the struggles, successes, and strategies of a non-profit organization. The internship also reaffirmed her desire to work for a non-profit organization when she graduated from the university. Sadie brings to SLDN her passion for social justice issues and extensive administrative experience.
